hr goat Cookie Policy

This policy covers the public website at hrgoat.ai. The hr goat app at app.hrgoat.ai is covered separately below.
1. The short version
The website uses analytics only if you press Accept. They tell us which pages people find useful, so we can make the site better. If you press Decline, nothing tracks you. We never run advertising cookies and we never sell anything about your visit.
The website also remembers whether you pressed Accept or Decline, so it does not ask again. That is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.

The items above that are not analytics are never used to track you. They make the site work the way you left it.
Analytics, only if you accept. None of the analytics above run before you accept, and none run if you decline or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Google Analytics runs with its advertising features switched off. If you change your answer to Decline, both stop and their cookies and visitor numbers are removed.
3. Things that are not cookies but you may ask about
Fonts. The website's fonts are served from our own domain. Your browser does not contact Google or any other font service when you visit.
Links to other sites. If you follow a link to another site, such as a partner or a social network, that site's own cookie policy applies once you are there.
4. The hr goat app
When you sign in to the app at app.hrgoat.ai, we keep you signed in using storage that is strictly necessary for the service to work. It is set only once you choose to sign in, it is not used for advertising, and it is covered by the Privacy Policy and, for workspace data, the Data Processing Addendum.
The hr goat apps for iPhone and Android store your session, your settings and a notification token on your phone. That is needed for the apps to work and is never used for advertising. Signing out or deleting the app clears it.
5. Changing your choice
You can change your answer at any time with Cookie choices in the footer of every page. Clearing your browser data also resets it.
6. If this changes
When we add or change an analytics tool, we add it to the table in section 2, it stays off until you accept, and the version date at the top of this page changes.
