What was wrong

CPD Campus helps chartered accountants meet the CPD hours their regulator demands. Tracking it by hand was slow and expensive, and at the end of it all they had was a list of ticks.

What we built

The tracking now happens on its own. Every course somebody finishes counts towards their hours and towards a picture of what they can do.

The paper trail is clean enough that every audit has passed.

What changed

• Audits: Every review passed, with a record that builds itself.
• Performance: The same data shows who is developing and who has stalled.
• Keeping people: The ones who go beyond what is required are visible, so somebody can talk to them before they leave.
• Pay: What somebody has learned now counts when pay is discussed.
• Development: A generic checklist became a route built around each person's gaps.

Where they are now

The work that keeps the regulator happy now also tells them how their people are doing. Same effort, two answers.
